This model is a German heavy armoured reconnaissance vehicle which was used during World War 2 in the German army. They were used to scout ahead and to the back of advancing mechanised units to assess enemy location, strength and intention.

The heavy Panzerspahwagen was a large but very fast and highly versatile addition to the German army.
